Sending a Patient Referral via Tasks

The Community app can receive electronic patient referrals from practices using the new Vision Tasks app

To send a referral from Tasks to Community:

  1. From any screen within the Tasks app, select the Add button.
  2. The New Tasks screen is displayed.
  3. Complete the New Tasks screen as outlined below:

  1. Your local Community nursing team will receive the referral in their Referral Inbox and can choose to accept or reject it, see Accepting a Referral, Rejecting a Referral

Note - If you choose to accept a referral received through the Vision tasks app, you will need to add an intervention to the referral before it can be accepted. See Adding an Intervention to a Referral.
