Consent Tab
The Consent tab enables you to record a patient selecting to opt out of having their records included in either CPRD or THIN data collection. The default is that consent is assumed unless the patient specifically expresses dissent.
To record dissent from CPRD or THIN data collection:
- From Registration, select the appropriate patient.
- Select the Consent tab:
- Complete as appropriate:
- Consent refused for CPRD Data Collection - Tick to record dissent.
- Consent refused for THIN Data Collection - Tick to record dissent.
- Select OK to save.
