Configuring a GP

Each establishment must have a nominated GP set up before they can be used.

To set up or change a nominated GP:

Note - You must be logged in as a System Administrator to access this facility.
  1. From the Vision front screen, select Management - Control Panel - File Maintenance.

  2. Select Config to display the Staff Configuration screen.
  3. Select the HB Default GP tab.

  4. Highlight the Establishment you are adding a GP to or changing a GP for and select Update.
  5. The Update Establishment HB Default GP screen displays.
  6. Highlight the GP required and select Set.

  7. Select Exit.

    If there are Establishments with no GP nominated, the following message displays stating Please specify all Establishment HB Default GPs. A GP must be nominated before you can exit Staff Configuration.

    Note - Before you can select a nominated GP, they must have a HB code in their Staff form in File Maintenance – See Adding GPs and Doctors.
