Configuring a GP
Each establishment must have a nominated GP set up before they can be used.
To set up or change a nominated GP:
Note - You must be logged in as a System Administrator to access this facility.
- From the Vision front screen, select Management - Control Panel - File Maintenance.
- Select Config to display the Staff Configuration screen.
- Select the HB Default GP tab.
- Highlight the Establishment you are adding a GP to or changing a GP for and select Update.
- The Update Establishment HB Default GP screen displays.
- Highlight the GP required and select Set.
- Select Exit.
If there are Establishments with no GP nominated, the following message displays stating Please specify all Establishment HB Default GPs. A GP must be nominated before you can exit Staff Configuration.
Note - Before you can select a nominated GP, they must have a HB code in their Staff form in File Maintenance – See Adding GPs and Doctors.
