It is possible that a patient is re-admitted into the prison system before their de-registration message is processed; Vision 3 checks that the Establishment is still blank:

• If Establishment is still blank the deduction proceeds following the standard community GP de-registration process.
• If Establishment has got an entry, for example, contains a prison establishment, this indicates that the patient is back in prison. In this circumstance a warning displays stating "This patient has been returned to prison. If you wish to process this deduction, you should then re-register the patient to the new Establishment/Health Board from within the Registration Module. Do you wish to continue with the deduction?" A PR2 / prison officer should be consulted to confirm. Select Yes to continue. You should reject the Health Board removal request and follow the standard GP rejection process by selecting the Health Board the patient resides in and providing an appropriate reason in free text.
