Viewing Deleted Records

Deleted patient data does not appear in Consultation Manager by default. Deleted data is not removed from the system, it is always available from the deleted records screen. To view deleted data:

  1. From Consultation Manager, select the patient required.
  2. Now select Consultation - Options - Show Deleted Records.

  3. The display line at the top of the screen displays in red to indicate that you are viewing deleted records.

  4. Select Summary – Medical Overview:

  5. The Medical Record Overview (Deleted Records) screen displays:

  6. Double click on a category to view it.
  7. You can right click on an item and select Audit Trail to establish who created, amended and deleted the result. See Viewing Audit Trails in Consultation Manager for further information.

    Note – You cannot add or update data whilst in Show Deleted Records mode.

Training Tip – Restrict access to Consultation Manager

You can restrict access to Consultation Manager for individual or groups of users, for example, if you want to restrict users from deleting information. This is configured from Management Tools – Control Panel – Security. Please see on screen help in the Control Panel Module for further information.
