Word Processor

Word Processor templates or mail merge for letters in Word can be set up from the Vision front menu.

  • First select whether Word or Vision Editor is the default word processor.
  • Next create the template letter, for example, for recalls or referrals.
  • In Consultation Manager, you can attach an individual referral or recall letter to a patient record.
  • When you merge a template letter with a group of patients in Patient Groups, you have the opportunity to view and edit the letter just before the letters are printed, when you can amend text or add and remove merge fields.
