Using Tasks in a Shared Care Setting

Tasks provides an easy to use task management system for your Shared Care Service. Tasks is specifically designed to help everyone in the service create, keep track of and process tasks quickly and easily.

Tasks also enables you to quickly and securely:

  • Send and receive tasks from services that you have a legitimate relationship with, providing they use Tasks.

  • Refer your patients across services that you have a legitimate relationship with, providing they use Tasks.

Most Tasks functionality is the same whether you are accessing your practice's patients or you are working in a shared care setting.

The following functionality is specific to Shared Care access:

  • Uploading Emis patients - In order to have access to all the Emis patient data available within your shared care setting, you must upload it to Vision 360.

  • Logging in - When you log in to Tasks, you have the option to select your local practice or your shared care service.
  • Organisational Services - Part of the Vision360 suite of products, supporting Shared Care Services by allowing you to view and manage:

    • Staff - Creating and maintaining non-Vision 3 users, including the resetting of passwords.
    • Services - Viewing organisations you have data sharing agreements with.
See Organisational Services for details.
