Template Colour Coding and Symbols

Templates are used to view and add data. They use colour coding and symbols to show complete, missing data or data that requires your attention. The following rules apply:

Icon Description

Text in green and a green tick indicates there is a corresponding Alert Pop-up and the alert requirement is met.

Text in black and a black triangle indicates that data is missing or requires reviewing. If the Register line displays in black it indicates that there are still some outstanding indicators for this QOF/QAIF area.

A red asterisk displays alongside a black triangle to indicate that it is required. Should you save the template a Required warning displays as 'At least one required field is empty. Required fields are indicated by an asterisk, do you want to continue?'. Select Yes or No as required.

A red exclamation mark displays alongside a black triangle to indicate that it is mandatory. Should you save the template a Mandatory warning displays as 'At least one mandatory field is empty. Mandatory fields are indicated by an exclamation mark.'. You must complete the mandatory field before saving the template.

Text in blue with a blue exclamation mark indicates data exists but needs to be re-entered again to be counted for QOF/QAIF.

Some templates include an amber triangle to indicate that information on the template should be reviewed.
