Accessing Consultation Manager or Registration

Important - This is only available if you have Vision 3 running on your workstation and you have access rights to either Consultation Manager for clinical records and / or Registration for registration records in Vision 3. See Adding and removing users and groups from Vision functions for more details.
Note - This option is available if you access Appointments from your Desktop, through the Vision 3 Home screen and from the Shared Care Appointment book(s) when viewing practice registered patients.

You can access the following Vision 3 modules from Appointments:

  • Consultation Manager
  • Registration

Opening Consultation Manager or Registration from the Reception View

To open either Consultation Manager or Registration from the Reception View:

  1. From the Reception View, hover over the patient required from the scheduled appointment list and select Options .
  2. Select either:

    • Open patient clinical record - To open the patient record in Consultation Manager.
    • Open patient registration details - To open the patient record in Registration.
  3. The selected patient's record displays.

Opening Consultation Manager or Registration from the Patient Details View

To open Registration from the Patient Details View:

  1. Select Open V3 Patient Registration :

  2. Vision 3 Registration opens and displays the patient's details.

To open Consultation Manager from the Patient Details View:

  1. From the Patient Banner in any Patient Details View screen, select the patients name:

  2. The selected patient's record displays in Consultation Manager.
