Go Live Preparation

Once your final data extract is taken, your current EMIS and Docman systems, although left in-situ for reference purposes, should not be used for recording data. No data entered after your final extract is taken is transferred to your new Cegedim Primary Care Hosted Solution.

Manual records must be kept of everything that would normally be recorded on to your system after the final extract is done and before your new system is implemented. These records must be entered into your new system after Go Live.

It is good practise to agree processes for:

  • Recording data during this period - You could use your old system and then print off reports to enter the data into your new system, or have prepared sheets of paper for recording.

Remember - If you are not using your old system, you need prescription pads.
  • Ensuring the information is entered into the the Cegedim Primary Care Hosted Solution - This should be done as quickly as possible following Go Live.

If you already use Docman as your scanning solution, a second data conversion is required. The final clinical system data extract includes an extract for Docman, this conversion usually takes place on day two of your Go Live.
