Understanding Your Service Connection

The Service Connection Status enables you to quickly check on the status of your Tasks connections:

  • All services are available.
  • One or more services are unavailable.
  • All services are unavailable.

The services are broken down into:

  • Security Services - This controls the logging in and authenticating of your account.
  • Administration Services - This collects and connects your organisation details, for example, practice, federation, community.
  • Patient Services - This is needed to be able to search and display patient information.
  • File Maintenance - This is needed to upload attachments from your system to a task.
  • Notifications - This sends tasks to other users, sends the panic alerts and any other processes that involve communicating between two or more users on different computers.
