Creating Letter Templates within Vision 3

Before you can generate a referral letter, create your template in Vision 3.

Note - Referral letter templates created through Vision 3 with Smart Tags are not currently compatible with Vision Anywhere.

There is a specific Vision Anywhere merge field - REFERRAL_Content, this takes the entry in the Referral letter content box and imports it into the letter.

For practice level working, any templates that are to be used with Vision Anywhere must be saved in P:\WORDPROC\TEMPLATE\VA_Referrals folder.

Shared Care Organisations need to forward the completed template to VATemplates@visionhealth.co.uk, the template is tested and uploaded to the appropriate cloud service.

Note - If you add the REFERRAL_Content merge field into an existing letter, this is not recognised by Vision 3, as this is specific to Vision Anywhere.
