Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) Adding Acute Medication

To add EPS acute medication:

1. From Consultation Manager, add the acute item in the usual way, see Adding and Printing an Acute Prescription for details if required.
   Remember - To check the selected medication is part of EPS, you can double click on the Drug Name to access the Drug Select screen, where you can check the Product Information in the bottom pane, use the down scroll arrow if required, see Therapy Not Eligible for EPS Phase 3 (Deployed Disabled) and Not Eligible for EPS R2 for details.
2. Select OK to complete Therapy - Add.
3. Select Print or press F9 on your keyboard.
4. The Prescription Manager screen displays and selects any acute medications added today by default.
5. Select Finalise or press F9 on your keyboard.
6. The token prints and, providing the item is eligible for EPS, the EPS message sent.
