Medical History

From the Patient Summary screen, Medical History displays the patient's:

  • Significant Diagnoses populated from diagnosis codes with a priority 1 or 2 and Problem headings.

  • Significant Procedure populated from any operations from Read Chapter 7 with a priority 1:

To view all the patient's medical history entries, select Medical History and the Medical History screen displays:

Note - By default, Medical History displays items linked to a problem at the top of the list in reverse date order, followed by non-linked items.

You can refine the list Medical History displays by applying a filter or simply using the Search the patient's record facility.
