Adding Appointments Filters

Appointments filters provide a quick way to view a selection of book owners and/or clinics on the Extension Plan screen, for example, all GPs or all Nurses. To add an Appointments Setup filter:
From the , select Filters
- Appointments. The list of existing filters displays:
From the top of the screen, select Add appointments filter
. The Create Appointments Filter screen displays:
Complete as appropriate:
Name - Enter a name for the new filter.
Practice wide filter - Tick to make this filter available to the whole practice.
Select a category heading to expand, for example, Sex to display the list of available options:
Training Tip - Use the scroll bar on the right to move through the screen.Select the filter criteria you want to include.
Note - Inactive clinics and clinicians with appointments, who are marked as inactive book owners, display at the end of the list with a line through the name. Any inactive clinics and clinicians without appointments do not display.Select Apply
to save changes. The list of current filters displays, including the new filter:
Select Save to save your changes or Reset to cancel any changes.

Copying an Appointments Filter
You can quickly and easily add a filter by creating a copy of an existing filter and its settings. To copy a filter:
From the , select Filters
- Appointments. The list of existing filters displays:
Tick the filter you want to copy, an additional toolbar displays:

Select Duplicate
to duplicate the filter.Note - You can only select one filter to copy, if you select multiple filters the Duplicate option becomes unavailable.The Create Appointments Filter screen displays:

Note - You must enter a different name for the duplicated filter.
Updating Rows
The following notifications display on the screen when additions, modifications and deletions are made:
Addition - Adding a new row.
Modification - Modifying an existing row.
Deletion - Deleting rows.
if the change cannot be made, for example, if the name you are using is already in use.
