On Release of a Prisoner

On release of a patient a PR2 amendment message is sent to Vision 3 with a blank Establishment. The amendment uses the SPIN to indentify the record to update. This kind of amendment deletes the:

• Establishment
• Hall
• Cell

  Note - The PO Box address is NOT removed.

If the patient has a Permanent registration status, a deduction request is generated and sent to the relevant Health Board via the Registration Links process. The deduction must be accepted and then processed within Registration Links in the usual way. The patient subsequently permanently registers again with a community GP, or another prison Health Centre should they re-offend.
