Registration status for merged records

Once the patient merge is complete and you have checked the details of active record, you need ensure the merged record is now inactive.

  1. From Registration , select the unwanted patient record.
  2. If the record is inactive the following message displays: The patient is no longer active. Do you wish to continue?

  3. If this prompt is not displayed, it means that the unwanted patient record is still active and you must change the registration status to transferred out. This procedure differs depending on whether your Practice is Registration Linked or not.
