What Data is Synchronised with the PDS?

The following lists provide details of data that is currently synchronised between Vision 3 and the PDS.

Existing Synchronised Data

Vision 3 supports the following PDS data fields for synchronisation with the PDS:

• Current/usual name
• Date of birth
• Gender (Male/Female/Indeterminate)
• NHS number
• Current/main address details
• Communication details
• Consent to NHS Care Record Sharing (NCRS)
• GP practice code (registered GP code is also held locally but will not be synchronised with the PDS).
• Business effective dates
• Address details changes
• Communication/Telephone Details changes
• Contacts for Patient is now Communication – Add
• Consent to Share Clinical Data
• Primary care details (Dispensing Contractors)

Fields in which there is a genuine difference will be highlighted in red. Differences in the below are not classified as genuine differences and will not result in a field being highlighted:

• Whitespace
• Punctuation characters
• Case discrepancies
