Add a new group

You can add your own new group, to which you can then assign common security rights. For example, the group could consist of practice nurses, or receptionists

  1. In the bottom left pane, either click with the right mouse and select Add Group; or click on .
  2. Type in a short name for the group, eg NURSES, (17 characters maximum, 3 characters minimum), press Tab, then type in a description which must be at least four characters in length (otherwise OK is disabled). Press Tab and Enter; or click on OK.
  3. The description will be shown under Groups of Users. To amend the name or description, click on the group with the right mouse and select Edit Group.
