Adding an Emergency Treatment Patient

Emergency Treatment patients are those within the practice area for less than twenty-four hours. Follow the procedure outlined in Adding a Temporary Resident, noting the following differences:

• From Registration - Personal Details - Registration Status, select Emergency Treatment.
• Add the patient's home address as the Main Address.

  Note - Emergency Treatment patients are not included in Registration Links,.neither is there any Item of Service claim generated after adding these patients. Emergency Treatment forms are handled manually rather than electronically.
