Patients Registering at a New Practice

If one of your ex-patients is registering with a new practice, there are two stages to the GP2GP process:

1. If you are GP2GP enabled and one of your patients registers elsewhere at a GP2GP enabled practice, you receive an Incoming GP2GP request from the patient's "new" practice requesting the notes. This is addressed "FAO Practice Manager" and not to an actual member of staff.
2. The notes are sent automatically and electronically from your practice to the new practice. The patient does not have to be transferred out, but permanently registered. A Deduction follows in due course to transfer the patient out.
