Changing a Prisoner’s Registration Record

If an amendment to any of the following is required, you need to update the PR2 system, this in turn updates Vision.

• Surname
• Forename
• Middle name(s)
• Gender
• DOB
• Primary address.

  Note - Updating Vision does not change the PR2 information and the update is overwritten next time there is a PR2 message for the patient concerned.

If an amendment is applied via PR2 for a patient with a permanent registration, an amendment is sent via Registration Links to the relevant Health Board.

Note - No prison-specific data is passed from Vision via Registration Links eg SPIN, Hall, Cell etc.
