Viewing a Sensitive Record
If you have permission to view a sensitive patient record, you can do so with no restrictions.
If you do not have permission to access a sensitive patient record, if you select it the following warning message displays, 'You do not have the correct permission to view this patient record. Please contact a system administrator in the practice for further assistance.'
Checking Which Staff have Access to Sensitive Records
To check which members of staff have access to patient records marked as sensitive:
- From Registration , choose Select Patient and select the patient required.
- From the Registration Details screen, select the Other tab.
- Select Restrictions and the Sensitive Patient Restrictions screen displays.
- Check the Users who can view the patient’s record pane for who has access to this patient record.
- Select OK to close screen.
