Online Services Configuration

Online Services supports the online services practices offer to patients. The following sections in Control Panel on-screen help detail the setup of Enabling Online Appointments, Enabling Online Prescriptions, Enabling ROSU Messages, Enabling Summary Data and Enabling Detailed Coded Record (England and Wales only).

Note - Staff must have System Administrator access to enable and configure Online services. (England Only – see RBAC User Guide for further details).

To activate Online Services:

  1. From the Vision 3 front screen, select Management Tools - Control PanelFile Maintenance.
  2. Select Online , or Actions – Online Services Config.
  3. The Vision Online Services screen displays, tick Enable Vision Online Services to enable Online Services:

    Note – Only those modules you have purchased are available online.
  4. You now need to configure the global settings, see Online Services Global Configuration:
